Mantsbrite celebrates 50th Anniversary at Seawork International

Mantsbrite is on Stand number A171 at Seawork International. While at the exhibition, Chairman Brian Ash and Managing Director, David Ash, along with their staff are celebrating Mantsbrite’s 50th Anniversary.

Established in 1964 by Brian Ash, the company has, over the intervening years, grown to become one of the UK’s leading suppliers of electronic equipment to the marine market, having been appointed at the UK and Ireland distributor for many of the world’s leading marine electronic equipment manufacturers. Through its 175-strong dealer network, Mantsbrite now supplies leading brands, including Koden, David Clark, Scan Antenna A/S and LCJ Capteurs, to name a few, to both the commercial and leisure sectors of the marine industry.

To mark their half-century milestone, Brian and David are holding a number of celebrations, one of which will be at Seawork International. Brian says: “We have joined forces with Tidal Transit, a fellow exhibitor, which is taking possession of Kitty Petra, the latest in a fleet of Personnel Transport Vessels [PTVs]. Together we are holding a media reception at 4:00 pm on 10th June on board the latest addition to its fleet.

“We have enjoyed a close relationship with Tidal Transit over the past years, having supplied and fitted all of the electronic navigational and communications equipment on their five vessels, including the latest, Kitty Petra.”
Mantsbrite’s 50 years’ experience has enabled it to build an enviable reputation for both the quality of the products and the service it delivers; Brian and David are proud to be able to deliver a superb service, providing everything from system design, specification, installation and a superb support service through our dealer network.

Brian finishes by adding:
“Our Anniversary year also coincides with another step forward for the company - the completion of our new radar test facility. It has involved some complex external building operations and extensive internal refurbishment, but it is now operational.   We are very much looking forward to welcoming many of our long standing clients and associates, both past and present, to celebrate our ‘significant’ anniversary with us at Seawork.”
