The Koden range of Sonar's feature the highest echo refresh rate in their class, this allows the user to find shoals of fish quickly and minimise the chance of missing targets.
Once the target is locked on, the ESR series of Sonar automatically controls the transducer's beam angle in azimuth and elevation to keep the shoal of fish displayed on the screen, the image stabilizer automatically compensates for pitching and rolling of the ship. Target depth can be accurately found using the variable depth marker, a cursor is also available for target distance and bearing. A sharp single beam facilitates detection of surface fish as well as discrimination of bottom fish resulting in high definition images.
Sector Scanning
Sector scanning up to 95 degrees is possible, most suited for focusing on the largest shoal of fish as well as bottom profiling.
Image Off Centring
The entire sonar image can be offset in 4 ways: Bow, Stern, Port and Starboard directions
Remote Control Unit
An optional remote control unit is available on request, a useful feature for a small fishing vessel where a skipper doubles as a deckhand. Multi station controls include, depth range selection, scanning azimuth, elevation / depression angle adjustment, target lock ON / Off and image off centring.
